// description of service
LinuxTools.app provides free, browser-based tools for developers, system administrators, and DevOps engineers. The tools include calculators, generators, converters, and reference materials designed to assist with common tasks in software development and system administration.
Most tools run entirely in your browser. No user data is transmitted to or stored on our servers unless explicitly stated (e.g., the NetOps network tools which require server-side processing).
// use of the site
You agree to use LinuxTools.app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
- ›Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- ›Use the network tools (NetOps) to scan, probe, or test systems you do not own or have explicit authorization to test.
- ›Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure.
- ›Use automated tools or scripts to scrape, crawl, or overload the Site beyond normal usage.
- ›Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Site.
// no warranties
LinuxTools.app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- ›The Site will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- ›The results produced by any tool will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
- ›The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
You are solely responsible for verifying the output of any tool before using it in production environments. Always double-check generated configurations, commands, and calculations.
// limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LinuxTools.app and its maintainers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to damages from data loss, system downtime, or misconfigured outputs.
// intellectual property
The design, layout, code, and content of LinuxTools.app are the intellectual property of the Site's owner. The tools generate output based on your input — you retain full ownership of any output generated through your use of the tools.
// third-party services
Certain features of the Site rely on third-party services, including but not limited to:
- ›Google AdSense — for displaying advertisements
- ›Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS — for DNS lookups in Network Tools
- ›ipapi.co — for IP geolocation on the NetOps page
Use of these third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. LinuxTools.app is not responsible for their practices.
